Hi, I'm Jerry

Hi, I'm Jerry. I'm from Malaysia and I work as a software engineer in Singapore.

I've been wanting to start my own website for some time, somewhere I can write things down and share them with friends. So here it is.

About me

I grew up in Malaysia and came to Singapore to study. After graduating, I stayed on to work here.

Outside of work, I'm usually at the gym, playing sports, gaming, watching dramas, or planning my next trip.

I've also been into investing, personal finance and FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) for a while now. It really started when I began working in Singapore. Earning in SGD made me think more seriously about saving and investing, and I realised that if I do it well, work can become a choice one day instead of a must. That's what I'm aiming for: more freedom, and more time to travel and do the things I enjoy.

I finished reading Die with Zero by Bill Perkins, and it made me rethink some of this. I wrote about my takeaways in a separate post.
